Plenty of helpful hardware is built-in this model including an autoduplexer, and auto-document feeder. There is an optical Character Recognition scanner, and also uncomplicated 802.11g wireless setup. The J6480 produces exceptional quality text, graphic, and photo prints.

Bad Points:

There is no PictBridge support. The J6480 only has 3 auto fax buttons and is slower than the average printer on photo prints.

The HP Officejet J6480 is a complete package. It is the newest all-in-one offered from Hewlett-Packard. They have loaded this particular model with tons of special features including; Autoduplexing, photo finishing, one-touch faxing, Optical Character Recognition with its scanner, auto-document feeder, and even built-in wireless networking, all for a price range of between $159.99 - $199.99.

The J6480 is a larger model then some with a footprint of 18.7 in wide by 18.6 inches deep. The unit is also a bit heavy weighing 16.87 pounds. However, the height is only 10 inches so it does not appear to be monstrous.

The unit will probable not be moved a lot because of its size and design. So you will find a spot that works and likely keep it there. The J6480 ships with HP
