They also share their top seven tips for successful online dating.

First, it is important not to compromise in online dating. According to Roberts, "If you definitely want to meet a man to marry and have children, make that one of your criteria". It is very vital to set the standards for the person that the women would like to end up with in the future that is why compromising is out of the question. If someone did not fit the bill contacted her, she should be ready to reply bluntly that she did not find his as her good match.

Then, she should prepare a good profile to sell herself. Roberts explains that "The number one mistake that everyone — not just women — makes with an online dating ad is writing about what they want instead of what they have to offer". It is also good to let other people know what she can offer and what her personality looks like. Personal dating ads should not be limited to generic statements such as her interest in movies. She should include personal inputs about her hobbies and some of her personal interests as well.

Another mistake in making personal profiles is adding unreal information about oneself. Some people tend to be dishonest in their profiles by cutting of some of their actual pounds or increasing their actual salary. Anderson advises that "White lies or fudging, whatever you want to call it, defeats the entire purpose of online dating!" That is why women should not worry about looking a bit weak in the profile as long as it is true.

Then, women should also consider involving their friends and family in her online search. It would be better to base their profile based on the opinion of their peers. It could also add fun to the process of searching if friends do it together.
