LG Dare (Verizon Wireless)
The LG Dare has a sensitive
touch-screen, HTML browser,a 3.2-megapixel camera, EV-DO and loads of superb
features. Call quality also is amazing.
Bad
Points:
The
user will definitely take time to get adjusted to the touch screen interface,
and the handwriting interface was not satisfactory. Web browsing was below par.

We Thought
LG Dare |
The LG Dare has a large display which covers almost the
entire front face of the phone. Its small size means that the 3-inch-wide
display is confined to a small area; it discouraged us from viewing the full
HTML browser. The display supports 262,000 colours, which gives a eye-catching
and colourful screen with lively graphics and clean text.
The
touch interface requires a slight learning curve. Dialling and texting was very
easy. The LG Dare has a QWERTY keyboard and also a handwriting recognition
system. The handwriting recognition feature was good, but with tiny problems;
it is not intelligent enough to figure out the characters on its own. The Dare
also provides an accelerometer which rotates the display 90 degrees in anti
clockwise direction for certain functions. The camera lens and LED flash is
situated at the back of the phone. Advanced features include Bluetooth with
stereo A2DP, phone as a modem option, mobile e-mail, USB mass storage mode,
voice command and voice dialling, and GPS functionality. Another feature is a
drawing pad which can be used to draw, and is similar to a drawing pad. The
