MetroPCS

The Metro PCS mobile phone coverage can only span 5 urban states. It has a generous messaging and calling service available; making it a great choice for teenagers.

The bad:

The Metro PCS mobile phones coverage is a little limited. There are issues with this mobile phone that should be corrected as they become way too irritating for the user. This phone cannot download. This phone is no use in an emergency while traveling.

What we thought:

This phone is good if you do not intend to travel. The call and text messaging quality is above average. But this phone is not user friendly. This needs to be sorted out. The phone does give unlimited free SMS and access to the Net that is cheap. The most worthwhile aspect to this phone is that there is a set monthly cost with no hidden payments, this works well. The problem is that there are restrictions to the phone that are near impossible to shift as there is no support from customer care. The sound quality is good for the price. This phone will be popular for mid income level people and students. It offers many packages that other phones don

Looking for Mr Right online

For single women who are searching for their perfect partner, there will be no faster or easier way to look for him than through online dating websites. Not only will it save her from the agony of going through numerous dating disasters every Saturday nights, it will also make her search for Mr Right at the comforts of her own home.

Still, looking for Mr Right requires the right resources. Beth Roberts and Karin Anderson, two women who co-wrote a book which is aptly titled ‘Finding Your Mate Online: No Fear, No Embarrasment, Just Love!' shared their insights about finding the perfect partner through the Internet. Both women are attractive, smart and successful, and they also met their husbands through this medium. Robert says, "We strongly believe that you should approach online dating as though it were a job. Don't just jump in; be organised and have a plan". They also share their top seven tips for successful online dating.

First, it is important not to compromise in online dating. According to Roberts, "If you definitely want to meet a man to marry and have children, make that one of your criteria". It is very vital to set the standards for the person that the women would like to end up with in the future that is why compromising is out of the question. If someone did not fit the bill contacted her, she should be ready to reply bluntly that she did not find his as her good match.

Then, she should prepare a good profile to sell herself. Roberts explains that "The number one mistake that everyone — not just women — makes with an online dating ad is writing about what they want instead of what they have to offer". It is also good to let other people know what she can offer and what her personality looks like. Personal dating ads should not be limited to generic statements such as her interest in movies. She should include personal inputs about her hobbies and some of her personal interests as well.

Another mistake in making personal profiles is adding unreal information about oneself. Some people tend to be dishonest in their profiles by cutting of some of their actual pounds or increasing their actual salary. Anderson advises that "White lies or fudging, whatever you want to call it, defeats the entire purpose of online dating!" That is why women should not worry about looking a bit weak in the profile as long as it is true.

Then, women should also consider involving their friends and family in her online search. It would be better to base their profile based on the opinion of their peers. It could also add fun to the process of searching if friends do it together.

Also, narrow down the options by going through thousands of profile to suit personal preferences. Women can also bookmark their choices in some of the websites.

When a woman finds someone who interests her and they have already chatted for some time, then they can take their relationship further by meeting offline. They can even start chatting on the phone or going out on actual dates. Yet, they have to consider going out in public places first for their own safety.

Finally, if the women still find no luck in looking for her partner, then she should at least try to revise her profile. She may add new photos or even place a new ad if needed. Giving up easily will do no good.

Do you need a wireless computer

While many computers come standard with a wireless card built into them, do you really need a wireless internet option with your computer? If you have a portable computer or laptop the answer is probably yes. Once built only for travellers, lap tops are the most popular type of computer being sold and represent the future of computing.

Do you need a wireless computer

With a laptop computer and a wireless network in your home or office, you can work or surf the net and check email anywhere you feel like in your home or office. If you want to read the internet news while you eat breakfast you can. You can check stocks while you brush your teeth or read some emails while you blow dry your hair and you don't need a blackberry to do it.

Wireless connectivity may not be mandatory at this point for the average computer user, but it is fast becoming the standard for most homes. In generations past, people would gather around the television after dinner and

watch the popular programs of the day.

Now after dinner family members grab their laptops, curl up in their favourite chair, and check the game scores, email, and update their MySpace page or Facebook profile. This is not really possible without wireless technology although you could run long cables for the outlet to your favourite chair.

Wireless networking cards are also available through cell phone companies allowing you to connect wirelessly to the internet from anywhere which gives you even more freedom than wireless networking at your home or office.

Battle of Wireless Ridge

The Battle of Wireless Ridge was fought as part of the Falklands War between the UK and Argentina, over sovereign rights to the Falkland Islands. The British were continuing their advance toward the Falklands capital of Stanley, where the Argentine forces had established their stronghold. Wireless Ridge was one of a series of seven strategic hills near the town, which would give the British forces control over the surrounding area.

The battle for Wireless Ridge was the second phase in the overall British plan to successfully recapture Stanley. The first series of attacks secured Two Sisters, Mount Longdon and Mount Harriet, while the second involved taking both Wireless Ridge and Mount Tumbledown. The third and final phase involved fighting for Stanley itself, in what many assumed would be hand-to-hand street fighting.

The British began their advance on Wireless Ridge from the area surrounding Mount Longdon, supported by naval and tank fire. When they reached the hill, they found that the Argentine forces had already withdrawn. As the British attempted to consolidate their position they were greeted with a heavy bombardment from the Argentine forces and they retaliated with a massive attack, which forced a rapid withdrawal by the defenders. Both sides continued to bombard the other with heavy artillery and machine gun fire.

The Battle of Wireless Ridge resulted in a victory for the British, which ended with the surrender of the entire Argentinean force on the islands later that day.

Wireless Mouse

wireless mouse in your future?

While many people fear technology, others embrace change and move forward, looking to improve their efficiency and mobility. There are many advances in computing technology, especially regarding how you use your PC or laptop computer. With the improvements in wireless technology and smaller and smaller designs for mice, is there a wireless mouse in your future?

There are various types of technology used in computing mice. There is the track ball mechanism for moving the mouse, the laser mouse and finally the digital mouse. While there are pros and cons to each type of technology, the final choice is down to the individual user.

The most common type of mouse uses laser light and has a wire connecting it to the computer, whether laptop or desktop. Wireless technology was thought to be too slow until recent years, as the speed and accuracy of the wireless mouse has been greatly improved.

No matter if you are working on your computer or playing computer games a wireless mouse can often come in handy. Typically, the technology works via a device that simply plugs into a USB port on your computer. Then you simply turn the mouse on and away you go.

Some wireless mice also have auto on and off features, which can be good and bad, depending on the accuracy of the particular type of wireless mouse you have purchased. No matter what the reason, if you want a wireless mouse, make sure you do your homework and get the model that works best for you.

 Wireless Printer

A wireless printer, does it really work?

Everything is going wireless these days, even your printer. Do you really need a wireless printer? That depends on your computing situation where your printer is located. If you are using laptops and connecting to your network wirelessly, then a wireless printer makes sense. If you are connected via Cat V cable to a network, then a printer with wireless capability probably doesn't make as much sense.

With many businesses requiring travel, mobile computing is where it's at and that means a wireless network. A wireless printer needs a wireless network to connect to in order for the jobs to make it from your computer to the printer. The process of setting up the printer is pretty easy, all you need is the network security key and the name of your network and you can have your printer online in minutes.

Imagine being outside drinking a cup of coffee reviewing some documents on your laptop and then printing off the copies you need, all while you finish your coffee on the patio. With wireless printing this is the reality of what you can do with technology.

While some people prefer to sit at a desk and have their printer right next to them--others prefer to be free, to be able to roam with their laptop. It is the roamers who will most enjoy wireless printing. Another advantage of wireless printers is that more than one person can be connected to a printer at one time without both individuals having to be "plugged in".
